WHAT ARE TERPENES

When you think terpenes think effects, how do you want to feel? Although our Cannabis products are from the Hemp rather than Marijuana or Ruderalis genetics, cannabis in all forms still remain the most beneficial cannabinoid plant medicine.
The cannabis plant also contains terpenes, which are among the most abundant compounds in the natural world. Most terpenes are bioactive, which means they may affect the body. This effect will vary based on the concentration of the terpene itself and how a person uses it.
Most people only relate terpenes to aroma. Terpenes are what produces the vibrant smells to plants, trees and flowers. They also form the very basis of many essential oils and are an integral part of many alternative therapies, such as aromatherapy, massage therapy and other topical means. It is recommended if using terpenes as a regimen that you only ingest from a company or herbal source that offers pure concentrate, uncut and organic laboratory tested to ensure the highest quality and potency effect and can be ingested. Inhaling the scents from some plants and essential oils may affect a person’s mood and stress levels as well.
The terpene heavy proprietary blends that have been formulated was intelligently designed to ensure the full effect of each product.

PLANT MEDICINE

What is the Endocannabinoid System & Cannabinoids

In 1992, a naturally occurring substance in the brain that binds to CB1 was discovered, called anandamide. This cannabinoid-like chemical and others that were later discovered are referred to as endocannabinoids.
The most abundant of the cannabinoids is CBD, which is thought to have anti-anxiety effects, possibly counteracting the psychoactive effects of THC.
CBD, CBN and THC fit like you lock in key into existing human receptors. These receptors are part of the endocannabinoid system which impact physiological processes affecting pain modulation, memory, and appetite plus anti-inflammatory effects and other immune system responses. The endocannabinoid system comprises two types of receptors CB1 and CB2 which serve a distinct function in human health and well-being. Receptors are found on the cell surface, so the plant medicine is operating at a cellular level.
The recent identification of cannabinoid receptors has triggered an exponential growth of studies exploring the endocannabinoid system and its regulatory functions in health and disease. This system has been implicated in a growing number of physiological functions both central and peripheral nervous systems and peripheral organs.
Cannabinoids exert their effects by interacting with specific cannabinoid receptors present on the surface of cells.
Researchers have identified over 70 unique cannabinoids within the cannabis plant. But with modern advances and technology discoveries are found everyday of the many different types of cannabinoids with plant medicine.
CBG, CBC and CBD are not known to have the same psychologically active agents whereas THC, CBN and CBDL along with some other cannabinoids are known to have varying degrees of psycho-activity.
Classes of cannabinoids

Cannabichromenes (CBC)

Product Methods to Use

Use Fresh Plant Medicine

Eating any plant medicine fresh is the best benefits when trying to achieve the effects and benefits of the plant. If you have access to fresh cannabis, consume organic whole plant in a juice or add its flavor to your meal.

Sublingual

A method that is also an edible method and highly recommended for fuller healing properties of plants. Because edibles are absorbed through the GI tract, with our transdermal products they allow for a faster-rapid onset but a more potent dosage. Tinctures have a more rapid onset by taking them without food. Hold the liquid tincture under your tongue for 30 seconds, the ingredient is more rapidly absorbed by the blood vessels in your cheeks and under your tongue. This bypasses your liver unlike eating a food that passes through the liver. Sublingual methods are faster because unlike an edible it doesn’t have to be processed by the liver to be activated. For our alternative and our personal favorite try our natural flavor dehydrated tincture. Like the old school breath fresh breathe strips, pop one in your mouth allow it to dissolve in your mouth and hold the salvation under your tongues or cheeks before instantly swallowing. The more you allow to absorb the longer you allow the plant to promote longer lasting effects.

Topicals

Our nano transdermal topicals cross the blood brain barrier with an onset of less than 10 minutes to take the typical pain edge off. The duration can last longer than 3 hours. Our oils, salts and lotion have additional terpenes, plant medicine and minerals.

Edibles

A method that is highly recommended for fuller healing properties of plants. For typical onset time will be 30-45 minutes, with a duration of 2.5 hours. Because edibles are absorbed through the GI tract and have such high efficacy, it was important that we included our transdermal material into edible products. The nano allows for a faster-rapid onset but a more potent dosage. After your first dose if you haven’t achieved your desired results (within the method of use time of onset), gradually increase your next dose in case there is a delay in your reaction to the plant medicine. *Not all our edible products are transdermal, however those isolate products have an entourage of other plant medicine cannabinoids and terpenes.

Flower

We do not offer CBD hemp flower aka the cured bud of the plant, However it is necessary that with so many using this method as the main method of use, I should discuss some important tips. It’s important to bring awareness that the bud is excluding the full medical benefits, cannabinoids, terpenes and boosted effects. The method and effects are potent and relieving with the shortest duration of relief. Flowers have INSTANT onset with a duration of only 1.5 hours, hence the most used method. Flower is the cured bud and is also used to make oil with triglycerides and other fatty oils. This is also known as MCT or Isolate that offers some but not all of the Whole Plant or Full Spectrum. Using flower also can cause a user to not have the full benefits of the whole plant that carries the most cannabinoid and terpene healing properties.
